October Wedding

This bride was a pleasure to work with. She managed to do so much planning in advance that she was actually enjoying her wedding day. That's very rare for a bride to be stress free on the big day leading up to the big event. I did her makeup and her bridal party too :) They all looked gorgeous (and were such nice people!) The bride's makeup preference was to keep it natural. And for most of the bridesmaids we kept it natural as well.

Addicted to Pinning!!

If Pinterest were a man, I'd marry him. He makes me laugh (with funny quotes or little kid photos), inspires me to do better (by giving me helpful hints about all areas of life), loves to cook and makes me salivate, isn't afraid of marriage, and helps keep me organized.

Use a business card, cut out a winged line shape and use that as a stencil for creating perfectly symmetrical winged eyes. So easy, cheap, and #blay.

Voluminous Hair

My straightening iron broke so all I had was my blow dryer, curling iron, and rollers to work with. I had a hot date later with a duck taco, so I needed to make sure I looked good. For the record, the duck taco was quite disappointing and didn't deserve all my efforts :( lol

Subtle Eye Trick

Here's a quick and easy trick for accentuating your eye makeup.
Dab a light color concealer or white/beige pencil right along the side of/under your makeup. Blend it a tad, and voila. Your dark makeup will stand out as sharper and cleaner against the contrasting light color. Can you see it in my pic?
