This was a special request, but I knew many girls were wondering the same thing: how do you get your liner to look so good? I'll show you how below... But first here are a few more q&a's.
Q. What liner should I use?
A. Any one that you'd like. They all have their benefits. A liquid liner will give you a perfectionist, sharp look while a pencil might be easier to work with at first. Whatever you do, work the
Liner as close to your lashes as you can. That should look good no matter what liner you choose.
Q. Why doesn't my liner last?
A. Im going to assume you use a pencil or cream liner... You should always cover a wet with a dry. Sooo go over your liner with an angled brush and matching eyeshadow to make your look have staying power. Even if you're dancing (sweating) the night away.
Q. What if both sides don't match perfectly?
A. This is tricky for everyone! Get them as close as you can then just be done with it. Makeup is supposed to be fun and not to sound rude...but no one but you is going to know if your left eye wing is angled at 52* and your right one is 55*. Once you get some mascara on and start enjoying your night no one will know. Who just sits perfectly upright at a bar with their head balanced just so? No one!
On another note I am convinced people's eye shapes are a little different too. I can never get my left and right perfectly symmetrical and matched because they are a little different. (the same goes for eyebrows: they're sisters, not twins.) Would any of you have known that unless I told you? Probably not :)
Q. What if I can't do it?
A. Practice makes perfect! Don't try this for the first time ten minutes before work or before a first date... Do it when you have some time to work with or before a date night with your boyfriend of 7 months (you're probably going to break up soon anyway. Wait... That doesn't happen to everyone? Just me? Sorry, never mind)
Worst case scenario is you wipe it off and try again. Or... You can always hire me to do it ;)
